Julia Brown ’19 — Greener Fuel through Chemistry
In the quest to find a fuel source that reduces carbon emissions, hydrogen seems like a good option, but the process to generate hydrogen gas results in carbon side products. Julia Brown ’19 has been working on a method to mimic natural processes of hydrogen production and will continue this summer as a Walsh research fellow in the lab of Dr. Maria Carroll, assistant professor of chemistry.
