I seek to foster open classroom environments where we can critically and joyfully investigate scholarly and public knowledge that supports our engagement with local, national, and global civic and educative spaces. I believe we all hold diverse expertise, and I aim to facilitate learning opportunities that honor our pluralistic lived experiences.

Civic education, political participation and socialization, citizen-state relationships, education policy

Hobbies/interests:
Baking sourdough bread, making music, exploring new places on foot, and holding conversations with friends and strangers, especially alongside my partner and our daughter.
