What are your thoughts on teaching?
I work to create an environment that fosters curiosity and lifelong learning, and where students feel like we are genuinely supporting them and rooting for their success in and out of class.
Tell us about your field of expertise.
My teaching and research interests encompass human health, from disease prevention to exercise performance. I am particularly interested in the potential of thermal stress, alone or in combination with exercise, to optimize health and performance.
What hobbies/interests do you enjoy outside of academia?
Running, skiing, baking, and spending time outdoors with my family
