What are your thoughts on teaching?
I draw from bell hooks and see teaching as an act of hope, where we (students and teachers) can think critically and creatively about social justice and social change, build relationships and community, and co-produce knowledge together based on our collective lived experiences, expertise, and curiosity.

Tell us about your field of expertise.
My research is focused on issues pertaining to intimate partner and sexual violence; specifically, campus sexual assault, as well as issues related to student well-being and trauma broadly.

What hobbies/interests do you enjoy outside of academia?
Spending time with my loved ones, the beach, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), reading, gardening, travel, and finding, cooking, and eating good food
