Thoughts on teaching:
As an educator within the performing arts, everything I teach is about connection: how dance intersects and forges connections between diverse people, subjects, and ideas. It connects the past to the present and offers the ability to communicate through expression of emotions, stories, and histories. My teaching centers on the experiences of each student and shows them how to tune in to these intersections and their community.

Field(s) of expertise/interest:
Musical theatre dance, intersections of dance and music, dance as social action

Hobbies/interests:
Dancing, spending time with my spouse and our dog, listening to podcasts, and reading. I also love exploring new places, trying new food, and visiting local coffee shops.
