Thoughts on teaching:
Teaching is such a dynamic experience, and every day offers new insights and opportunities for mutual growth. Every time that I teach, I learn. I believe in collaboratively creating learning experiences, that encourage curiosity and creativity to nurture innovation and competence.
Field(s) of expertise/interest:
My research stems from my clinical practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner in acute care. The focus of my research explores how exposure to greenspaces impacts well-being in the pediatric population. I am also interested how greenspaces serve as community hubs that facilitate social interaction, peer relationships, and their influence on family bonding and health outcomes.
Hobbies/interests:
Anything outdoors!
